Frequently Asked Questions
How does the custom order process work?
Every War Skulls piece is hand-painted to order. Add your item to cart and upload your reference files (photos, insignia, unit patches, etc.) through our secure Upload-Lift portal at checkout for the custom skull. Once we receive your files and confirm the details, your skull enters our production queue. We'll reach out if we have any questions before we begin painting.
How long does production take?
Custom skulls typically take 2–4 weeks from the time we confirm your order details and receive your reference files. We're a small-batch studio — every piece gets the time it deserves. You'll receive a shipping notification with tracking as soon as your order ships.
What is your return and refund policy?
All sales are final once your custom skull has been completed. Because each piece is made specifically for you, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. The one exception: if your order arrives damaged due to transit, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and the packaging. We'll make it right.
What shipping carriers do you use?
We ship via UPS and USPS. Domestic (US) shipping is included in the price of your order — no surprise fees at checkout. You'll receive a tracking number by email once your package ships. International shipping varies.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we primarily serve customers in the United States but we can ship our skulls internationally. If you're located outside the US it should update currency and shipping options and any applicable duties or customs fees at checkout.
What materials are used?
Our skull replicas are crafted from PLA+ and finished with professional-grade acrylic paints and sealants. Stands, when included, are made from solid wood or metal. Each piece is sealed for durability, but we recommend keeping your skull out of direct sunlight and away from extreme heat or moisture to preserve the finish for years to come.
How do I care for my skull?
Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Do not submerge in water. With proper care, your War Skulls piece will hold its color and detail for a years to come.
